Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-08-12 · Effective 2026-08-12
This policy exists because a single abusive sender can cost every other customer their connectivity. Operators suspend routes, not individual accounts.
1You must not send
- Unsolicited commercial messages, or messages to numbers you have no lawful basis to contact.
- Promotional content routed as transactional or service traffic to escape the time window or the preference rules.
- Content that does not match the DLT template it is sent against.
- Messages using a sender ID not registered to you.
- Phishing, messages impersonating a bank, government body or another business, or links to malware.
- Content that is obscene, defamatory, or promotes violence or hatred.
- Anything unlawful under Indian law, including unlicensed gambling, unregulated lending and prohibited pharmaceuticals.
2Message content
Where regulation requires an opt-out facility, it must be present and it must work. Do not obscure the identity of the sender. Do not use URL shorteners that hide the destination — operators filter them and your delivery rate will suffer regardless of this policy.
3Lists
Do not upload purchased, scraped or harvested lists. Do not upload a list you cannot explain the origin of. Numbers on our internal block list are suppressed, and those suppressions are not negotiable.
4Technical
Do not attempt to exceed your provisioned throughput, open more connections than your account permits, probe the platform for vulnerabilities without written authorisation, or interfere with other customers’ traffic.
5Enforcement
We may throttle, suspend or terminate an account that breaches this policy, and we may do so without notice where traffic is causing regulatory or operator harm. Where we are fined by an operator or regulator because of your traffic, we will recover that amount from you.
